Peace, tranquillity, beauty, style and nature in the heart of the Poitou Charente
Accommodation

The fully walled 2 ha grounds create a sense of space and privacy. The driveway is flanked by 80 beautiful lime trees, bringing you to the main building which has been completely renovated without losing any of its character or authenticity.

Spacious dining and sitting room

Elegant cosiness is brought to life in the large dining room with its sofas and open fireplace, enabling you to fully enjoy being together with family and friends, read a book, watch television, listen to music or just relax with an aperitif in hand and all your worries swept aside.

The enormous table warmly invites you to pull up a chair. During the summer months, we eat outside on the terrace in the morning and in the evening.

Charming guest rooms

The beautiful elm staircase leads to the intimacy of our five luxurious guest rooms. Each window has a spacious window-seat where you can daydream to your heart’s content whilst taking in the panoramic views of the surrounding gardens and nearby valley.

The design of each room breaths country chic, partly due to the willing collaboration with Willem Fouquaert from La Peinturette, a specialist in providing colour and interior advice, treating patina furniture and working with lime-based paints and lime rendering.

All the rooms have their own en-suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The arms of Morpheus await you in the sumptuous, spacious beds (1.8m by 2m) which provide more than a good night’s sleep. Families are able to charge their batteries in our stylish family room (for 4 people) which has its own bathroom and dressing room.

Swimming pool & co

How about a dip in our swimming pool (12m by 6m), followed by a game of ping pong and an aperitif at the pool house? Mmmm…. definitely not to be missed! Both young and old often take the time to relax with a much commented on game of boules on the petanque pitch whilst enjoying the abounding scenery within the grounds.
